I’ve looked at a lot of marriages as a cop and PI and been in three marriages myself and would have to say any marriage that lasts 50 years has a 100% chance at least one party cheated. We were divorced about 10 years ago. What will this annulment do to our divorce decree that we signed in 1999? A friend of mine just filed for divorce in the end of March; both her and her husband agreed and the divorce should be final in 3 months as there was nothing to fight over. She has been separated from her husband for 1 year already out of their 3 year marriage due to some infidelity on his part. During their separation period, she met and got engaged to someone else. She is currently planning her wedding to this gentleman. So, how soon after her divorce is finalized can she apply to re-marry? Thanks for any advice.

My GFs ex-husband lives in Mexico. They are divorced legally in Mexico even though he did it illegaly. That is the problem because if we get married and she tries to become a citizen they will say how is it possible you got divorced from someone while you were in this country. So my question is how do you divorce someone with out them being there? If he doesn’t sign papers or doesn’t come to court how is it possible to get a divorce?

Does anyone know of a good way to serve him the papers without using a court appointed person to do it? He cant hide forever and she only has 4 days to gett hem to him. Thanks.

i know someone who is getting a divorce, and doesnt love her ex anymore, but they are planning on living with each other as roommates for right now after the divorce for the sake of the kids, so as not to traumatize them. has anyone else ever done it or is doing it now, and what were your experiences like? she is seeing someone already.
