How come sometimes the timing is wrong for relationships?
When you’ve found someone who has potential of being the one you marry some day, circumstances may not be ideal for your relationship yet. Either one person or the other has to finish school before being able to 100% commit in their own way or someone is going overseas for 4 months. Whatever the case is, the timing is off. If you have to walk away from that person, how do you trust that things will work out in the future when the timing is right? How much emphasis is put on the “right time”? What is timing in relationships to you?

I think that whenever there is a elationship between people and others/objects, that something happens in the brain to solidify the liking/disliking of the other person/object I would think. But does the relationship “itself” have it’s own separate physical entity or is that something we only imagine or percieve to be there?

I was talking to my coworker today at work and she told me all the relationships she has ever been in have been abusive including the one she’s currently in. She’s married with a kid. She wants to leave but it’s so difficult since he doesn’t want a divorce and there’s a child involved. I was shocked. She said they were nice at first and then turned violent. How come some women are just that unlucky with men.

Relationships are a part of life. The relationships we have with family will affect every aspect of our lives. Our relationships also provide for our most basic human needs. While helping us to have a fulfilling life, our relationships encourage us to reach our fullest potential. Through our relationships, we are sustained in our personal growth and developement. The family unit is very important whether you are a child or an adult. Our relationships are the substance to how each of us grow and interact with each other. The relationship substance strengthens our bonds and builds trust. As we grow, we learn from life experiences after leaving our parents.
Re-enforcement of values is what makes us who we are as individuals. For example, support and confidence from others helps to mold us into being a positive part of society. What makes an individual who they are, is contributed by everyone who has helped and guided that person.
Relationships play a central role throughout our lives. The family structure may be different for every individual. For example, whether our family structure is composed of one or both parents, or other family member, strong support from others is important for that individuals’ well being.
